A Compendium of Windows 10 references

Tuesday, August 11th, 2015

Windows 10 is different enough from both Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 (there was no Windows 9) that there’s a lot to learn, a lot to like, and a lot to dislike. I decided to gather some information about 10, both to prepare for the update and to make the best use of it once I had it.

This is list is not exhaustive, nor is it technically vetted – I can’t promise you that this is the best, most accurate information out there. In my experience, the original sources for these links are reliable, so there shouldn’t be anything too wrong or too dangerous. But use at your own risk; no warranty, expressed or implied; your mileage may vary; some settling may occur. Yadda yadda yadda.
