Will Clemens, Chief Executive Officer

Will brings more than three decades of leadership experience across technology, finance, and SaaS to his role as CEO of Progress Learning. His career spans founding and scaling companies, leading private equity–backed organizations, and serving on multiple boards in education, technology, and data services. He has a proven track record of driving growth and innovation, from startups to established market leaders, and is passionate about building solutions that make a lasting impact. Amy Brown, Chief Product Officer

Amy brings 7 years of classroom teaching experience to her role as Chief Product Officer. Since joining Progress Learning, she has worked in nearly every department—beginning in a customer-facing position and steadily expanding her impact across the company. Spencer Hatch, Chief Financial Officer

Spencer has served as Chief Financial Officer of Progress Learning since 2018, guiding the company’s financial strategy through years of growth and transformation. With a background in private equity and investment banking, he brings deep expertise in scaling founder-led, technology-driven businesses. Before joining Progress Learning, Spencer worked as an investor at Serent Capital and as an investment banker in Jefferies’ technology practice, where he focused on software and tech-enabled companies. At Progress Learning, he ensures the organization’s financial health and sustainability, enabling us to invest in innovative tools and resources for educators nationwide.

Terry Mitchum, Chief Technology Officer

Terry brings more than three decades of software development and technology leadership to his role as Chief Technology Officer at Progress Learning. Since joining in 2021, he has led the evolution of our platform with a focus on scalability, reliability, and innovation to meet the needs of educators and students nationwide. His prior experience includes senior engineering leadership at CoreLogic, serving as CTO at Mercury Network, and nearly 13 years as EVP of Development at a la mode, inc., a leader in real estate appraisal software. Terry’s expertise in building high-performing teams and complex software systems ensures that Progress Learning remains at the forefront of edtech solutions.

Nancy brings 15 years of experience leading marketing and sales functions for SaaS companies across industries including automotive, martech/adtech, and sports. She has deep expertise in branding and rebranding, mergers and acquisitions, communications, and lead generation.
