About MAP Testing

Administered by the Missouri Department of Primary and Secondary Education, the Missouri Assessment Program is the state’s official exam for testing Missouri Learning Standards in middle school students.

These assessments are generally administered each spring in examination years. They provide learning benchmarks for state standards as well as assess individual student learning for intervention.

These students take the Math and ELAR portions of the MAP in grades 3-8, while the Science portion is administered in year 8.
