What You Get With Progress Learning
Kentucky students take the Kentucky Summative Assessments (KSA) throughout their academic journey from 3rd grade until 11th grade in certain subjects at certain grade levels. The KSA exams are intended to assess students’ mastery of the Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS).
The KSA exams are administered annually in the spring between late March and late May depending on the campus, grade level, and subject.
Kentucky students take the Kentucky Summative Assessments (KSA) throughout their academic journey. High school students in grade 10 are assessed on reading and mathematics. Grade 11 students are assessed on science, social studies and writing. Additionally, 11th grade students are required to take the ACT.
